It was a cold evening when my girl  and I were waiting for some guests to come in. The guests were a girl from Kolkata and a guy from Jammu & Kashmir. They were a common friend to us. They recently got engaged formally and we thought of calling them for a dinner with us.

Things were all picture perfect. We had the dinner ready before they stepped so we had ample of free time to attend them. We started talking about Bollywood as most of the homes in India are women dominated and they like Shahrukh & Salman types. Thanks to all those who believe in women empowerment.

But then we moved to World, Nation and Politics. As these would be the favo object of discussion for two men with lots of energized gray cells in their skull. After all guys take major decisions like if India and Pak should go on for a war.

I never realized when we stepped into the topic of terrorism in India and the families affected due to these in human acts. The guys as you know was from Doda district of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K). Doda was once the most badly Pak sponsored terror hit areas in J&K. Now we had stories from him. We realized that it would have been a real hardship for people like him to come out the state well educated and trying their destinies in Information Technology or say Indian mainstream societies.

Suddenly I was shocked to hear a statement from him. I quote, “Where were these politicians and the protesters who condemn the deadly attack on the Taj or Mumbai, when our people and we were being killed in J&K”. Further he says, “Now as the riches of India are being slaughtered and the foreigners are being killed, people internationally come to know that India is terror hit”.

I looked back into time and events. He was undoubtedly true to every extent. Why there was not support from America when people in Kashmir were targeted? Why there were no strong statements from Pranav Mukherjee when there were blasts in Gujrat, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh? Why there is not consensus in Parliament when there is blasts and killing in Assam and North East India?

These questions are unanswered and will be foreever as we know that our politicians are low on political will power. Our officials have nothing to do except to come on so called national television channels and speak non-sense to which not a single average everyday Indian agrees.

A few days back I read in some news paper that when Daniel Pearl episode was into execution, one Israeli news reporter was also captured by the terrorists. When the terror heads in Pakistan were informed of this, the only instruction came was to release them as Israel is a Hard State.

Now the question is why cannot India become a Hard State? Why do we need International pressure to mount on Pakistan? Why do we need America? Did America ask our opinion while it attacked on Afghanistan or Iraq?

War is no solution, this is what many of you will comment. But remember my friends, without war there is no peace. It was WW II that has brought permanent peace in Europe. We should be ready to sacrifice now. If not now then we would not get another chance to even think of this.

We need to align ourselves to one cause, the one great nation – INDIA!

Jai Hind… Jai Bharat!
